We all know that Porsche offers some rediculously expensive optioned up vehicles... but what about the lower end of the spectrum? How about dropping over $30k on a brand new Cruze? Can you find any other vehicles that can double or more their base price with add ons/trim levels?

2014 Mazda 3. Not quite double, but the 4door version starts under $17k, fully loaded can top $30k. The 5door I want goes for $30k.

Corvette...if you figure the base car as a base price and a kitted out Z-car as all the options. It was possible to create 6 figure C6 Z06s.

The Nissan Juke, in its ultimate form, the Juke-R, it topples the half million mark.

I had a Mini moment some time during 11th grade and I built one to my liking and it was either pushing or over $50k (a Clubman.)

Honda Accord starts at $22k, fully loaded Accord plug-in hybrid is $40k. But at least that's for a fancier powertrain option and not a bunch of worthless crap like $700 yellow seat belts on a Porsche.

Base Jeep Wrangler = $22395

Then add $40k for a brute kit! I think we have a leader (ignoring the non purchaseable Juke-R) almost 4x the price for options.

Silverado starts at $23,590 (from what I could find, I'm sure a 'contractor' edition would be cheaper) and a fully loaded 3500HD is $56,851
Also F-150 from $24k to $56k, staying withing the 150 class, if the silverado doesn't count.
